Recap by phillip woo

Enjoy Golf drew away after clearing to lead 1,000m out from gate seven for a first win at his third start. He had flashed ability in two prior starts. Favourite Master Of All just edged Run Run Timing for second after a box-seat run. It was another good effort despite a rise in class after back-to-back wins. Run Run Timing wouldn't go down without a fight after a speed-tracking run from gate nine. Patch Of Time ran on steadily for fourth without threatening the top three from midfield. He went OK following a stable change. Plunged late, Happydearhappydeer made some late ground near the inside to finish next best after turning the final bend three from the rear. It was an improved effort at his third start. Great Achiever ran on without threatening near the outside after getting held up for a run until 150m from home. Star Line produced only a grinding effort after getting dragged back to sit behind midfield turning for home. Foolish Heart made late headway down the outside after settling last from gate 14.
