Horse No 1 MY FLYING ANGEL (J174) A Badel Bumped shortly after the start.
Horse No 2 LET'S DO IT (E132) H Bentley Jumped only fairly and from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 3 TOP SCORER (J120) H Bowman Bumped at the start.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 GRAND BOSS (J353) M F Poon After the race, M F Poon reported that his mount hung in in the Home Straight and proved reluctant to shift to the outside for some distance approaching the 200 Metres.

Horse No 5 HANDSOME BOMB (H402) A Atzeni Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

Horse No 6 HAPPY DAILY (E294) C L Chau After the race, C L Chau reported that from the outside barrier he was instructed to ride his mount conservatively in the early stages to avoid having to make too much use of it to go forward.
Trainer C H Yip will be asked to confirm the instructions issued.
Horse No 7 SMILING COLLECTOR (G128) K Teetan Shortly after the start was crowded.
Near the 1000 Metres when racing keenly was steadied away from NOT A FEW.
Over the concluding stages could not be ridden out to the finish when it improved close to TOP SCORER.
Horse No 8 SMART FIGHTER (H278) K C Leung In the early stages when being crossed by TOP SCORER raced keenly and was steadied away from that runner near the 1150 Metres.
Briefly held up after the 400 Metres.
After the race, K C Leung reported that as his mount raced keenly in the event, it failed to finish the race off in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 9 C P ONE (J013) K De Melo Jumped only fairly.
Horse No 10 NOT A FEW (J109) M L Yeung Shifted out at the start and was bumped.
Horse No 13 VULCANUS (J150) Y L Chung Bumped shortly after the start.
Horse No 14 HOSS (H055) B Thompson Shortly after the start was crowded and became unbalanced.
Near the 100 Metres was directed to the inside of RUBY SAILING to continue into clear running.

Despite chasing the speed three wide without cover, Handsome Bomb edged clear after poking his head in front 150m out for a first win at his fourth start. He relished the step up to 1,400m. Plunged late, Grand Boss ran on nicely to grab second in deep stretch after finding a spot one off with cover from behind midfield. It was a vastly improved effort at his third start. Ruby Sailing would not go down without a fight after dictating the pace from gate one. It was a good effort at his first try over the 1,400m. Favourite Top Scorer had his chance after stalking the speed but only whacked on one paced over the last 100m. Hoss stayed on well for fifth despite being short of room until the 120m following a handy run one off the fence. Class dropper My Flying Angel kept on one paced after a wide trip with cover carrying top weight. He might need to make use of a claimer. Let's Do It kept on without threatening after making his run four from the rear. Smart Fighter did not find under the whip after a prominent run on the fence.
