Race Five : (96) - THE LONGINES CUP (HANDICAP) - Class 4 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 SOLID SHALAA (H228) Z Purton Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event and near the 500 Metres shifted in and bumped MR GOOD VIBES.
Horse No 2 ACT OF FAITH (H082) B Avdulla Was sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 TOGEPI (G458) H Bowman Approaching the 500 Metres was bumped by PERFECT PEACH which made the turn awkwardly and shifted out and away from the rail.
Horse No 5 HARMONY N HOME (C531) L Hewitson From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Was steadied to avoid PERFECT PEACH approaching the 500 Metres.
Horse No 6 KASI FARASI (B385) K H Chan From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 7 MR GOOD VIBES (H180) M F Poon Jumped only fairly.
In the early stages raced keenly and on the first turn shifted out when positioned close to ACT OF FAITH.
Was bumped near the 500 Metres.
Horse No 8 ROUND THE GLOBE (H146) A Badel After the race, A Badel stated that his instructions were to lead on the horse, but if the pace was strong, not to contest that position.
He said after the 700 Metres when HEALTHY HEALTHY made a forward move, ROUND THE GLOBE was not travelling well enough to hold the lead and as a consequence HEALTHY HEALTHY crossed to the front.
He added after being crossed he then immediately started to ride his mount along to maintain his position behind HEALTHY HEALTHY, however, ROUND THE GLOBE did not respond to his riding and after being taken out slightly on straightening went to the line only fairly.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Was sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 9 HEALTHY HEALTHY (H203) H Bentley Was sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 11 PERFECT PEACH (E488) Y L Chung Made the turn awkwardly and lay out approaching the 500 Metres and made contact with TOGEPI and lost ground.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 12 H Z TOURBILLON (E149) M Chadwick Jumped awkwardly and lost ground and then from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea.
Before being allowed to race again, H Z TOURBILLON will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 10 TACTICAL COMMAND (H197) K C Leung Was withdrawn on raceday afternoon by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (wound to left hind leg).

Healthy Healthy pressed the pace outside favourite Round The Globe, cleared to the lead 600m out and stuck on gamely when challenged in the straight to shed his maiden tag on his fifth start. He had flashed potential in his four Sha Tin runs. Act Of Faith chased the speed one off the fence and almost drew level 100m out but could not overtake the winner. He has improved from one run to the next in Class Four this season, and he could salute soon. Togepi finished strongly to take third after travelling one off the rail worse than midfield. He built on his flat C&D sixth first up this term. Solid Shalaa got going late to just miss a placing after getting left without cover at the halfway mark. He has the tools to win in this grade soon. Round The Globe handed up the lead and whacked on one-paced over the final 200m. Telecom Speed kept on OK following his one-out, one-back run. It was a better effort second up this season. Harmony N Home ran on late without threatening the placegetters after Lyle Hewitson rode him patiently ride one from the rear. H Z Tourbillon cost himself any chance when he badly missed the jump.
