Favourite Simple Hedge just collared Moduleconstruction in the final few strides after a wide with cover trip from behind midfield for a maiden win at his second start. Moduleconstruction found one just too good after rolling to the lead 250m out after wide without cover trip from midfield. He continues to race well without winning in his five starts. Sight Hero just scrambled home third best after a one off run from behind midfield. It was another honest effort after a win two runs ago over this Sha Tin trip. Urban Triumph came from the clouds and widest out to just finish out of the placings. It was a much improved second-up effort aided by visors on wet going. Regency Bo Bo finished well with one wider out from towards the rear to finish next best. It was another honest performance by the nine-year-old despite the quick back up from a run last weekend. Young Sparkle ran on all right from behind midfield. He might not be far off a bottom.

Race Three: (637) - DANDELION HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters

After being loaded into the barriers, HORSE OF GOOD LUCK reared, became cast and got its both front legs briefly over the barrier partition.

HORSE OF GOOD LUCK was removed from the barriers and examined by the Veterinary Officer who said that in his opinion it was suitable to race.

HORSE OF GOOD LUCK then jumped awkwardly and lost ground and subsequently finished tailed out.

The barrier manners and performance of HORSE OF GOOD LUCK were considered unacceptable.

Before being allowed to race again, HORSE OF GOOD LUCK will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

A veterinary inspection of HORSE OF GOOD LUCK immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

WINNING DATA jumped only fairly.

URBAN TRIUMPH was slow to begin.

REGENCY BO BO and SIMPLE HEDGE bumped at the start.

When being shifted behind runners in the early stages, CASA SACRED became awkwardly placed close to the heels of BLISSFUL LIFE which shifted out slightly.

For some distance approaching the 800 Metres, SIGHT HERO raced tight to the inside of CASA SACRED which was inclined to lay in.

Near the 800 Metres, MODULECONSTRUCTION and BLISSFUL LIFE made contact.

BLISSFUL LIFE then lay out slightly making the first turn.

HUGE WIN lay in under pressure in the Straight.

MODULECONSTRUCTION raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

The performance of CASA SACRED, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable.

A veterinary inspection of MARVEL DRAGON immediately following the race revealed that the horse was displaying an irregular heart rhythm.
