Racing Incident Report
Race Six: (459) - KWAI FONG HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1000Meters
OOGA CHAKA shifted out at the start and bumped HARMONY AND RICH.
GANESH TALAI began only fairly.
GOKO shifted out at the start and hampered JUMBO ENGINE.
SO GLORIOUS began awkwardly and shortly after the start got its head on the side and shifted out towards the heels of GOKO.
OOGA CHAKA lost its left front plate in the early stages.
Near the 850 Metres, GANESH TALAI was momentarily crowded for room between SPECIAL STARS and HARMONY AND RICH which got its head on the side and lay out away from the heels of WAR OF COURAGE.
OOGA CHAKA lay out after the 800 Metres.
Passing the 500 Metres, ALLIED AGILITY got its head on the side and shifted out abruptly.
In the early and middle stages, SO GLORIOUS raced greenly and approaching the 300 Metres got its head up when being shifted out away from the heels of DIAMOND PEGASUS.
Near the 350 Metres, JUMBO ENGINE, which was closing off the race strongly, was shifted in away from the heels of DIAMOND PEGASUS and SPECIAL STARS.
JUMBO ENGINE was then shifted in further away from the heels of BALTIC WHISPER after the 300 Metres to continue improving.
When changing his whip into his right hand approaching the 200 Metres, K Teetan (HARMONY AND RICH) dropped his right rein.
As this was the 4th occasion K Teetan had dropped a rein during a race this season, he was fined $5,000.
A veterinary inspection of CHIKORITA immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
ALLIED AGILITY and WAR OF COURAGE were sent for sampling.

Allied Agility kept on gamely after rolling to the lead from a low draw 500m out for a third win from seven starts over this trip. The claimer's allowance was the difference in the end. Odds-on favourite War Of Courage grudgingly gave way after handing up the lead mid-race. It was a solid performance in his first start in Class Three and he remains one to follow. Larson stuck on well tracking the speed near the far side. He didn't disgrace in his opening four starts and might be coming to hand now. Punted late Heart Conquered loomed a chance 200m out racing midfield on the grandstand side but the big weight set in late. Harmony And Rich came up flat inside the final 150m with his move from worse than midfield near the far side. It was a slightly disappointing effort. Newcomer Jumbo Engine ran on late without menacing after struggling to stay in touch at the rear until the 400m. He's still a work in progress.
