Recap by phillip woo
Raging favourite Winning Method led and moved clear at the 300m to win as expected after a solid debut. He's got a nice future. Judy's Star ran on nicely traveling third from the rear to grab second 100m out in a good debut. He'll certainly derive benefit from this run and appears to want a longer trip. G Unit kept on reasonably well after showing gate speed to sit second in the run for the most part in a pleasing debut. His natural gate speed will be winning him races as he progresses further. Target Finder was running all over the track to fill a Quartet spot after peeling off the one-paced Gala Night at the 380m travelling second from the rear. It was a decent debut effort but he'll need a lot more work and possibly a longer trip. Gala Night came up one-paced over the last 200m following a prominent run. He failed to derive much benefit from his debut run last month and will need more time. Shadow Breaker made some ground without ever looking a chance settling one from the back. He needs more experience and a longer trip.
