Recap by phillip woo
Well backed Great Son was well rated in front after being hustled to lead from gate four to open his win account at start 15. He had shown signs of turning the corner in two prior starts and might remain one to keep safe heading forward. Peace On Earth stuck on well for second after chasing the winner on the fence. He's not genuine but can bob up now and then. Punted late Cour Valant ran on steadily to fill a placing following a midfield run on the fence. He had all favours off a light weight. Favourite Show Mission ran on without menacing travelling one off in midfield. He needs the pace to be faster. Whistle Up ran on without menacing down the outside after jumping slowly. He likely needed the outing following a break. Keep Going had every chance following a prominent run. He's quite ordinary.
