Penang Hall dashed to the front 220m out after enjoying a lovely run in the box-seat and edged clear for a second win from four starts despite a step back in distance. He's firing on all cylinders and might be able to ring up another before season's end. Green Card finished well from behind midfield to just get second ahead of the fast-finishing High And Mighty. He isn't far off a winning run after finishing in the frame in his past three. High And Mighty turned the final bend with three behind him after badly missing the start but closed off well to nearly grab second. He's not easy to get right but has fallen plenty in the handicaps. Newcomer Bank On Red caught the eye with a late move two from the right after getting shuffled back to have two behind him rounding the final bend. He's got some ability and should be more effective over a mile trip. Winston's Lad was getting going late after getting no favours deep in the run travelling in the second half of the field. He's a winner waiting to happen but prefer him over the 1,200m. Hinyuen Swiftness closed off well down the outside after trailing the field coming to the final bend. He appears from his past two of eight starts to be on the right track now.

Racing Incident Report

Race Nine: (687)-MR MEDICI HANDICAP (Sec1) - Class 3 - 1400Metres

HIGH AND MIGHTY stood flat-footed as the start was effected and consequently lost a considerable amount of ground.

Before being allowed to race again, HIGH AND MIGHTY will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial.

As the start was effected, HINYUEN SWIFTNESS lifted its front feet off the ground, began awkwardly and then was bumped by BANK ON RED.

BEAUTY KINGDOM shifted out at the start and bumped WINSTON'S LAD.

EASY TOUCH and OUTLAWED bumped at the start.

CELESTIAL ARROW travelled keenly for some distance after the 1200 Metres.

For some distance passing the 900 Metres, BEAUTY KINGDOM was awkwardly placed close to the heels of OUTLAWED (C Schofield) which shifted in when not properly clear.

C Schofield was severely reprimanded and advised to ensure that he provides sufficient clearance when shifting ground.

Approaching the 800 Metres, HIGH AND MIGHTY raced in restricted room inside WINSTON'S LAD.

After the 800 Metres, CELESTIAL ARROW was left racing wide and without cover.

HIGH AND MIGHTY was crowded for room rounding the Home Turn between CELESTIAL ARROW and SUPER LEADER which was taken out by LUCKY DOUBLE EIGHT which was shifted out away from the heels of PENANG HALL.

Throughout the race, WINSTON'S LAD travelled wide and without cover.

A veterinary inspection of BEAUTY KINGDOM immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

A veterinary inspection of OUTLAWED immediately following the race including an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea.

Before being allowed to race again, OUTLAWED will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

PENANG HALL and GREEN CARD were sent for sampling.
