If you thought Demetrious Johnson might be bitter about Henry Cejudo’s big bantamweight title win at UFC 238 last weekend, think again.

Olympic wrestling champion Cejudo added a second UFC belt to the flyweight title he took from Johnson when he dethroned “Mighty Mouse” after 11 successive title defences last year.

That proved to be Johnson’s last fight in the UFC before he sealed a blockbuster trade to One Championship – a move Dana White seemed to be happy about.

The UFC president said last week “nobody cared whatsoever about Demetrious Johnson” and that Cejudo might be the person to ignite interest in the flyweights.

Cejudo, who gave himself the new nickname “Triple C” for his three championships, certainly feels that way, demanding White pay him “heavyweight money”.

“I’m happy for Henry Cejudo,” Johnson said while answering fan questions during a live stream on his Twitch channel. “I hope they start paying that man. I look forward to seeing what he does next in his career.
