ONE Championship Friday Fights 3 line-up set with Chorfah vs Petsukumvit main event, return of Shannon Wiratchai
- ONE’s third event at Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium will be topped by a Muay Thai clash between Chorfah Tor. Sangtiennoi and Petsukumvit Boi Bangna
- Popular MMA contender Wiratchai will return to action for first time since a decision win over Fabio Pinca in August 2020
The line-up for ONE Championship Friday Fights 3 is set, and there are some interesting fights to look forward to.
The card, ONE’s third at Bangkok’s famous Lumpinee Stadium, will be topped by a flyweight Muay Thai clash between Chorfah Tor. Sangtiennoi and Petsukumvit Boi Bangna, both fighting on home soil.
Popular Thai MMA star Shannon Wiratchai will also return to action on the card, taking on Poriya Golpour of Iran at featherweight.
Chorfah, 29, made his ONE debut at ONE 164 in December in Manila, with quite a bit of hype behind him. He ultimately suffered a first-round knockout at the hands of his opponent Tagir Khalilov, but will look to get back on track again his fellow Thai Petsukumvit, who will be making his debut.
The 34-year-old Wiratchai (10-6) will be fighting for the first time since a split-decision win over Fabio Pinca in August of 2020. That victory ended a four-fight skid for the Thai.
His opponent Golpour (4-2) is 25 and will be making his ONE debut. He won his last fight, in May in Iran, by first-round knockout.
