The promotion elbowed its way into the combat sports industry over the last two years, with several big-ticket boxing matches involving stars like Mike Tyson, Roy Jones Jnr., Jake Paul, Ben Askren, Vitor Belfort, and Anderson Silva.

Triller will soon unveil a new combat sport called Triad Combat, which will be contested in a triangular enclosure and combine boxing and MMA rules in an effort to create a level playing field for athletes from the two sports.

The rules will more closely resemble those used in boxing, as only punches will be allowed, but will give MMA fighters a leg-up by allowing extensive clinching.

According to a report from MMA Junkie, the first Triad Combat event is slated for November 27, and will feature a number of UFC veterans, including Perry, former heavyweight champ Frank Mir, and former heavyweight contender Matt Mitrione.
