UFC 259: Tim Elliott calls Jordan Espinosa ‘woman beater’ mid-fight while choking him in wild trash talk exchange

A little mid-fight trash talk is not uncommon in the mixed martial arts cage, but Tim Elliott took things to the next level at UFC 259.

Near the end of a dominant second round in a unanimous decision win on Saturday night’s prelims at the Apex facility in Las Vegas, 34-year-old flyweight Elliott (17-11-1) called Jordan “The Gamer” Espinosa (15-9, one no contest) a “woman beater” while smothering him on the ground against the fence.;

“I heard you choked a woman in 2018 … you a woman beater? Little f****** woman beater,” the American said.

And Espinosa, from the bottom with Elliott’s elbow on his throat, answered him back.

“You don’t know the whole story,” he said.
