Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has invited Conor “Notorious” McGregor to train with him after witnessing the Irish fighter’s football skills on Instagram.
McGregor (22-4), who is retired from the UFC according to a Twitter post earlier this year, posted a short video of himself shooting at a goal on his Instagram account to his 36 million followers.
In the clip he is seen kicking a ball into a goal with the accompanying caption: “what do you think @sergioramos? We Are The Forge!!!”
Ramos, who is Spain’s most-capped player, responded to the post, stating: “class, mate! Fancy a training session at @realmadrid More than welcome to join us anytime.”

The 32-year-old McGregor has not fought since January when he made a return at UFC 246 and pummelled Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone in 40 seconds, earning a TKO.
The Irishman announced his retirement from mixed martial arts on June 6. It is the third time in his career he has stated he is retiring.

Ramos, who helped to seal Madrid’s 34th La Liga title earlier this month, first posted a video of himself during a training session with Real Madrid on July 18 where he was seen scoring and then mimicking McGregor’s Vince McMahon-inspired “billionaire strut” after the goal.
Ramos’ wife, Pilar Rubio, recently gave birth to the couple’s fourth son. The Real Madrid and Spanish national team captain also posted a photo of his son and wife on social media.
