Glover Texeira blasted UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones for his latest controversial tweet making light of Anthony Smith’s home intrusion in April.

The 40-year-old Teixeira (31-7) caused a huge upset in his UFC Fight Night headliner with Smith (33-15) on Wednesday night, beating “Lionheart” by a fifth-round TKO that really should have been stopped earlier.

During the fight, Jones (26-1, one no contest) tweeted, “Good thing Glover is not on the hunt for a new TV”.

“That’s so stupid, man. That’s so stupid,” said a visibly-irked Teixeira at the UFC Fight Night post-fight press conference in Jacksonville, Florida. “I don’t talk s*** about Jon Jones, man. People ask me all the time [about] what he’s done … like hitting pregnant women.”

Teixeira was referring to a hit-and-run involving Jones and a pregnant woman in 2015. “Bones” turned himself in the next day and cites the incident as one of his most regretful.
