“The Korean Zombie” Jung Chan-sung made light work of Frankie Edgar in front of his home crowd at UFC Fight Night Busan. But the first-round TKO is all the more impressive given he was seeing double.

Jung dropped veteran and former lightweight champion Edgar multiple times before referee Marc Goddard stepped in after just three minutes and 18 seconds, sending the Sajik Arena into raptures.

“Zombie” declared, matter of factly, “I want [Alex] Volkanovski” when he grabbed the microphone after. But any fans salivating over that match-up with the newly crowned featherweight champion might be waiting a while.

“Honestly, it doesn’t matter when that happens,” Jung said at the post-event press conference. “This is my first time actually announcing this, but right now my eyes are not that good.”

Those that follow Jung on Instagram might have already known, but he has been suffering with an eye condition that makes him see double.
