Tony Ferguson has said Khabib Nurmagomedov’s dominant performance against Dustin Poirier at UFC 242 in Abu Dhabi was “lazy” – and he knows how to break his code.

The Russian submitted Poirier in the third-round with a rear-naked choke after a fight mostly filled with his trademark takedowns and mauling against the fence.
Ferguson is “next in line” for a crack at Khabib’s lightweight title, according to UFC president Dana White, and he sees weaknesses he can exploit.
“Lazy, one dimensional,” Ferguson said, laughing, when asked by ESPN’s Ariel Helwani what he thought of Khabib’s display.
“Nothing against him. Khabib showed up, he put the pressure on Dustin and Dustin didn’t have an answer for it. Props to Khabib for winning.

“But like I said, it’s lazy. We’ve prepared for this guy many times, he’s a good fighter but I know how to break that code.”
