A few days after Bruce Lee’s daughter, Shannon, lambasted acclaimed writer/director Quentin Tarantino for his portrayal of her late father in the Hollywood blockbuster, Inosanto joined in on the debate on the controversial scene that has made the godfather of mixed martial artist look like a “buffoon” and an “arrogant a******” according to his daughter.

Inosanto is one of Bruce Lee’s proteges and vice versa with the Filipino-American credited with teaching the Hong Kong superstar to use nunchucks or nunchaku, the traditional Okinawan martial arts weapon consisting of two sticks connected at one end by a short chain or rope.

Bruce Lee first introduced nunchucks in the films in Fist of Fury and again in The Way of the Dragon before Inosanto was cast in Lee’s unfinished film Game of Death, where the pair go at each other in one of Lee’s most memorable fighting scenes.
