Gates open at 1.30pm on Friday as the Sevens gets under way at Hong Kong Stadium.
There will be stadium entertainment from the off, and again halfway through the proceedings – at 5.12pm, if you want to be precise.
Matches kick off at 3.40pm, with highlights including Fiji v Japan, New Zealand v Samoa and France v Great Britain.




The day is set to end on a high with Hong Kong taking on Australia.
Those not attending can watch the games on iCable, with HKIBC (channel 76) showing all matches live and HOY TV (channel 77) also live between 3.30pm and 5.15pm.

Draw for 2022 Hong Kong Sevens
The weekend will feature the 15 core teams in the World Rugby Sevens Series - the annual circuit in which the Hong Kong tournament is a regular fixture - along with Hong Kong, as hosts.
Pool A: Australia, New Zealand, Samoa, Hong Kong.
Pool B: South Africa, France, Great Britain, Uruguay.
Pool C: Fiji, USA, Spain, Japan.
Pool D: Argentina, Ireland, Kenya, Canada.
Remaining tickets for Hong Kong Sevens
Weekend tickets are available exclusively from the Hong Kong Rugby Union’s online ticketing site.
Prices have been frozen at 2019 levels, with a three-day event pass costing HK$1,950 per adult and HK$950 per child aged 12 and under.
Single-day tickets were being sold at online booking platform Klook, with those for Saturday and Sunday already sold out.
Hong Kong Sevens Covid-19 rules
Hong Kong Stadium will have an 85 per cent cap on its 40,000 capacity, imposed by the city’s government, allowing up to 34,000 to attend.
On arrival, fans must scan a QR code using the LeaveHomeSafe app and comply with vaccination requirements – essentially, you must be vaccinated or have a valid exemption.
Each day, spectators must show a photograph of a negative rapid antigen test result obtained that day, marked with their name and the date and time it was taken.

Face masks must be worn in the stadium throughout the event, except when eating or drinking.
In the stands, people must remain in groups of 12 or fewer, in line with the city’s anti-gathering rules.
Hong Kong Sevens food and drink
Food and drink may be bought on the stadium concourse and consumed in the stands.
Spectators may also take a small amount of food into the ground, the Hong Kong Rugby Union has advised, after initial indications that this was forbidden.
Face masks must be replaced immediately after refuelling, with stadium staff set to be dispatched in the stands to ensure that people comply.
