The Hongkonger continued her inspired form at the Tokyo Aquatics Centre on Thursday as she stormed into the final of the 100-metre freestyle and once again beat her own Asian record mark.

The 23-year-old has so far enjoyed a magnificent Tokyo Olympics after winning 200m free silver on Wednesday morning and following that up with a personal best and shortening the Asian mark in her 100m free heat in the evening session.
Her time this morning of 52.40 seconds eclipsed last night’s effort, which caught her by surprise, by three-tenths of a second.
