Last season’s International Swimming League runners-up Energy Standard have moved swiftly to make sure that Hong Kong’s Siobhan Haughey is with the team next season.

Haughey was named among the five swimmers retained for the 2021 campaign by the team, keeping them out of the upcoming ISL draft.

The 23-year-old impressed for the Paris-based side in the Budapest bubble last season, her first for the team after moving from DC Trident at the end of the ISL’s inaugural season.

She was a key part of the team as they went to the grand finals last November, only to be beaten by the Cali Condors.

Haughey finished the season as the 11th highest individual scorer in the league and was mentioned in the MVP conversation.
