After being blown away 71-48 by the Sri Lankans on Thursday, Hong Kong came out firing on Saturday afternoon to lead 14-13 at quarter-time.

They combated Sri Lanka’s 2.08-metre goal shooter Tharjini Sivalingam far better than when the two teams first met but the powerful Sri Lankans eventually wore down Robin Manihera’s side, pulling away in the second half after leading by four at the main break.

Sri Lanka will play Singapore in the final after they defeated Malaysia 51-43 in the other semi.
