Representing Craft-Bamboo Racing, O’Young was one of three drivers who took turns behind the steering wheel of their Aston Martin Vantage with Britain’s Alex MacDowall and Stefan Mucke of Germany.

The team finished third overall and second in the pro-am class.

“It’s a big accomplishment and the first time a Hong Kong team has stepped onto the Bathurst 12 hours podium. It was a great race. I’m really proud of the team,” said O’Young.

“We are very happy with the podium because it was a really tough competition against all the top factory teams. I think the goal will be to come back with Craft-Bamboo next year and try to win this race.”
