Amid huge fanfare, Lionel Messi, widely considered the greatest footballer of his generation, is due in Hong Kong in early February when his club, Inter Miami, visit to play an exhibition match.
For those unable to acquire tickets, and those hoping to see more of Argentina captain Messi – often referred to as the “greatest of all time”, or “GOAT” – the Post has compiled what we know so far.
When does Messi come to Hong Kong?
Players and officials from Inter Miami, the American club co-owned by David Beckham, are due to land in Hong Kong on February 2 and stay for three nights, playing an exhibition match at Hong Kong Stadium on Sunday February 4.

It forms part of a preseason tour by the Major League Soccer side that will take in five countries and cover about 24,000 miles (39,000km).
They will arrive after a stop in Saudi Arabia to play two matches.

Tickets for the February 4 match, priced between HK$880 and HK$4,880 (US$113 to US$624), sold out in December.
