The CFA made the announcement on their website on Friday following the incident in the Chinese third-tier game between Yanbian Longding and Sichuan Minzu last Wednesday.

Bans range from eight matches to a whole year for those players that took part in the brawl.

The fracas broke out in the 60th minute of the league game with four players being shown straight red cards at the time.

Yanbian’s Li Yiying got the most severe punishment and he will not play until June, 2021. The player was also handed an 80,000 yuan (US$12,500) fine by authorities.
