“Will you watch my first game?” Jeremy Lin asked his Chinese fans ahead of the G League season opener for his Santa Cruz Warriors against the G League Ignite, while launching another season of his three-point charity drive.

“Preseason update – the first two games have been played, we have just started! Training, eating, resting, repeating. Someone will. Will you watch my first game at 0:00 on February 11?” he wrote on Weibo.
The 32-year-old will be hoping that one of the NBA’s 30 teams are watching too as he looks for a way back into the league after spending last season with the Beijing Ducks in the Chinese Basketball Association.
Lin signed for the Golden State Warriors’ G League affiliate last month but can sign for any one of the NBA teams at any time during the season, which tips off on Wednesday in the bubble at Walt Disney World in Florida.
His Chinese fans will have to wait until midnight on Thursday to see Lin take on some of the best prospects for the NBA lottery, such as Jalen Green and Jonathan Kuminga.
