Jeremy Lin returned to the Beijing Ducks starting line-up to help his side to a 10th straight win in the Chinese Basketball Association in Qingdao on Wednesday, after sitting out the win over the Sichuan Blue Whales on Monday.

They did not need him, in what was a one-sided game behind closed doors. The Ducks triumphed 115-87 to further cement their grip on third place in the CBA standings as the play-offs loom.

The top four teams in the final standings are handed a bye to the second round of the play-offs, thereby missing a dangerous winner-takes-all one-off first round. The Ducks are now certain of this with one game left to play.

Lin only played seven minutes and all of them in the first quarter but he still recorded 10 points, including two three-pointers, and two steals.

The NBA champion watched on as his teammates ran riot over the Sturgeons, finishing the first quarter 37-15 ahead and never looking back. Six of the Ducks reached double figures, including top scorer Duan Jiangpeng and Chang Lin who both hit 20.
