NBA champion Jeremy Lin and his Beijing Ducks are among the Chinese Basketball Association teams to return to action this weekend.
The CBA will see its first games since January with the season postponed for the coronavirus pandemic while on its Lunar New Year break and there is sure to be increased interest as basketball fans are still denied the ability to watch the NBA.

Saturday will see five CBA games, including the Beijing Ducks against Liaoning. There are another five on Sunday amid a packed schedule until the play-offs, which are set to begin on July 30.

Lin and the Ducks will be based in Qingdao, Shandong province, as they look to finish out the campaign, while half of the teams are based in Dongguan, Guangdong province. Those based in the south include Stephon Marbury’s Beijing Royal Fighters.

Both teams have travelled from Beijing after the capital was hit by another spike in Covid-19 positives, with the city introducing renewed measures on June 11. Sporting events in the city were suspended beginning on June 12.
