The Chinese city of Ningbo will host the 2025 Volleyball Nations League (VNL) Men’s Finals, the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) announced on Tuesday.

Scheduled for July 30 until August 3, the event will be staged at the Ningbo Beilun Sports and Arts Centre in the East Chinese city, which also hosted qualifying rounds for the Paris Olympic Games in 2024.

The women’s finals, meanwhile, will take place in the Polish city of Lodz from July 23 to 27.

In 2024, both Hong Kong and Macau hosted stages of the women’s VNL, which achieved “exceptional” viewing figures in China and was one of the biggest sporting events of the year, the FIVB added.

The event reached a total audience of 268 million with China Central Television (CCTV) broadcasting 168 hours of live action, and it was the second-highest sports broadcast in China for 2024, with a peak viewership of 23.6 million.

Hong Kong will again host the Nations League this year, with the tournament scheduled to take place between June 18 and 22.
