Singapore Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan denies ‘liking’ controversial Gaza post

The minister says he has enhanced security for his Facebook account after being accused of temporarily liking inflammatory remarks on activists

Singapore’s top diplomat Vivian Balakrishnan has denied “liking” a Facebook post by a former nominated member of parliament (NMP) who suggested relocating pro-Palestine activists to Gaza.

The press secretary for the foreign affairs minister later on Wednesday told local media that Balakrishnan had filed a report with Meta over “unauthorised activity” on his account.
