Hanfu-clad China student in England gifts traditional sweet treats to strangers on street to spread joy, share culture

A mainland student studying in England who shared free traditional Chinese snacks with strangers in the street to spread the joy of eating them, has trended on social media.

The woman, surnamed Wang, 24, from Chongqing municipality in southwestern China’s Sichuan province, is pursuing a master’s degree in Early Childhood Development at University College London.
