Capitalising on Singapore's prowess as an international maritime centre, Thome Ship Management is proud to be the country's first third-party home-grown ship manager.

As the main unit of Thome Group, Thome Ship Management combines Scandinavian seafaring expertise with the Asian drive and work ethic to provide world-class, client-centred services.

Starting from a team of 16 people 35 years ago, Thome is now the largest international ship management group in Singapore.

Thome Group is recognised as one of the world's leading independent managers with around 300 vessels, under full technical and crew management serviced by 650 shore staff and 11,000 crew.

"It is Thome's vision to establish dedicated ship management and crewing offices in strategic locations worldwide," says executive chairman Olav Eek Thorstensen. "The group has expanded from its Singapore base in recent years both geographically and in business sectors."

Thome provides a range of services including ship management, crew management, crew agency, newbuilding and technical consultancy. It also offers ship conversion project management, offshore vessel and structure management, ship lay-up maintenance and reactivation, ship inspections, voyage repairs and ship agency.
