- Ancient Greeks compiled the original list thousands of years ago, and it has been updated to reflect modern times
Difficulty: Explorer (Level 1)
The Ancient Greeks compiled the original list of the seven wonders in the 2nd century BC, which only included spots they knew. Many people agreed it was time to update the list. More than 100 million voted to finalise the seven modern wonders of the world: the Great Wall of China, Machu Picchu, Christ the Redeemer, Chichen Itza, Petra, Taj Mahal, and Colosseum.
