Ukraine war: Fox News cameraman, producer killed near Kyiv

  • Cameraman Pierre Zakrzewski and producer Oleksandra Kuvshynova died when their vehicle was struck by incoming fire in Horenka, outside Kyiv

An Irish cameraman for Fox News and a Ukrainian working as a producer for the US television network have been killed in fighting near Kyiv, Fox News said Tuesday.

Cameraman Pierre Zakrzewski and producer Oleksandra Kuvshynova died and correspondent Benjamin Hall was wounded when their vehicle was struck on Monday by incoming fire in Horenka, outside the capital.

Hall, a Briton who works as the network’s State Department correspondent, remains hospitalised in Ukraine, Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott said.

Zakrzewski, who was based in London, had been working in Ukraine since February.
