China teacher threatens to throw pupil from third floor after boy sprays him with water gun
Formal reprimand for experienced educator who manhandled, slapped 10-year-old boy in school corridor

A teacher in China who slapped a student and threatened to throw him out of a third-floor window after the boy sprayed him with a water gun has sparked outrage online.
In April, a 10-year-old called Ranran from Zhejiang province in eastern China sprayed his maths teacher with a water gun during a break.
The 59-year-old teacher, surnamed Lin, said Ranran had not received a confectionery reward for good behaviour that day, and he believed the boy was acting out in retaliation.
Angry, Lin took Ranran to an office to reprimand him.
While passing a corridor window, Lin said he pretended to scare the boy by acting as if he would throw him out.
Surveillance footage shows Lin grabbing Ranran and dragging him to a third-floor window, making a motion as if to push him out.
