Top Taiwan singer Angela Zhang dedicates signature song to slain China doctor

Renowned Taiwan singer and actress Angela Zhang dedicated her iconic song “Invisible Wings” to a doctor who was stabbed and killed the day before her concert in the city where he worked.
Li Sheng, a cardiologist from the First Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University in eastern China’s Zhejiang province, was stabbed to death by a stranger on July 19.
The killer, undesrtood to be a man who lived alone, jumped from the roof of the hospital after the attack and is still undergoing treatment for his injuries, according to Beijing Youth Daily.
On July 20, Zhang held a concert in the city where Li worked.
Before singing her most famous song she dedicated to “the angel in white who left us”.

Released on her 2006 album, Pandora, the song “Invisible Wings” became a hit and an evergreen classic for its graceful melody and lyrics intended to encourage listeners through adversity.
