Coldplay’s frontman has shared tips for fighting depression and thanked fans in Hong Kong, following the British band’s four-night run of sold-out concerts last week.

In a two-minute video posted on the band’s social media accounts, lead singer Chris Martin is seen sitting on the ground with his legs crossed on the boardwalk near Victoria Harbour, with the city’s lights illuminating the background.

“I wanted to make a video because we haven’t done it in a long time, and firstly to say thank you to everybody who came to the shows in Hong Kong, which I was a bit nervous about, but people were so lovely,” Martin said.

“We are so lucky everywhere we go, so thank you.”

Martin then added that he had recently noticed a few people, including himself, struggling with depression.

“So I was going to tell you some things that have been helping me on tour and maybe some of them might be good for you too,” he said in the clip posted on Monday.
