3 more arrested for allegedly damaging Legco poll campaign banners in separate cases
Police apprehend men, aged 24, 50 and 80, for damaging posters in Tseung Kwan O, Chai Wan and Sham Shui Po, respectively, on the weekend

Hong Kong police have arrested three men on suspicion of damaging Legislative Council election campaign banners in separate cases over the weekend.
The force said on Monday that an 80-year-old man, surnamed Lam, had been apprehended in a Tseung Kwan O flat the previous day after he allegedly tore up four roll-up banners in the district.
It added that a political party worker reported the case of damaged banners on Man Kuk Lane near Hang Hau MTR station on Sunday morning.
Lam was arrested for alleged criminal damage and had been detained for further investigation, police said.
Separately, a 24-year-old man was arrested on Monday morning for his alleged connection to 136 damaged election promotional posters displayed on a pedestrian footbridge near New Jade Shopping Arcade in Chai Wan, after police were alerted on Saturday.
In yet another case on Sunday evening, a 50-year-old man, apparently dissatisfied with the placement of election banners outside Sham Shui Po MTR station, argued with volunteers at the site.
During the dispute, he became agitated, pulled down a banner and fled the scene. He was arrested soon after, police said.
