A Hong Kong cyclist has died after he was struck by a minibus, prompting police to launch an investigation.
The man, 62, was riding his bicycle when the vehicle knocked him down at the junction of Boundary Street and Waterloo Road in Kowloon at 5.37am on Monday.
He sustained head injuries and was unconscious when rushed to Kwong Wah Hospital in Yau Ma Tei, where he was certified dead at 6.54am.

The minibus driver, 74, has been arrested over dangerous driving causing death and is currently being detained for questioning.
Photos from the internet show damage to the left side of the minibus and cracks on the windscreen.
Investigations by police are ongoing.
