The force said on Tuesday that officers were still searching for the 1.68m-tall suspect in his 30s, following the incident which occurred at around 11.52pm in San Po Kong the previous night.

The victim, 49, was waiting for a bus with his friend at a bus stop outside Mikiki shopping centre on Prince Edward Road East at the time of the incident.

“A man in his 30s pushed the victim off the walkway from behind as a KMB bus was leaving the bus stop,” a police spokesman said.

As a result, the victim was hit by the double-decker vehicle, sustaining injuries to the left side of his face and left shoulder, he added.
