Hong Kong television star Mat Yeung Ming has pleaded guilty to careless driving for crashing his black Mercedes-Benz into a road sign.
The 39-year-old TVB actor, whose real name is Lam Ming-lok, also admitted on Friday having an illegal tint on his car windows, but denied failing to provide a blood sample for an alcohol test without a reasonable excuse at Queen Mary Hospital.

Best known as Tin Hoi in drama Be Home for Dinner in 2011, the star will stand trial over the final charge on March 2 next year. His bail was extended until then, on the condition he lived at his home address.
The case before Principal Magistrate Bina Chainrai of Eastern Court centred on an accident on Magazine Gap Road in Mid-Levels on August 8 this year.
Careless driving and unlawfully reducing the visibility of car windows are punishable by six months behind bars and a fine.

The maximum penalty for failing to provide a blood sample is six months in prison and a HK$10,000 fine for a first offence, rising to one year and a HK$25,000 fine for repeat offending.
Yeung played a leading role in television drama On-Lie Game, aired on TVB last summer, as a senior inspector of police’s cyber security and technology crime bureau.
He has also filmed crime prevention and recruitment promotion clips for the force.
