Consumers in Hong Kong and across the border can look forward to bargains in August, with two shopping festivals lined up by the city’s leading trade organisations.
The Trade Development Council’s Hong Kong Shopping Festival is the first attempt by city authorities to promote local consumer products and brands on mainland Chinese e-commerce and social media platforms.
The other, the Hong Kong Brands and Products Shopping Festival by the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association, will be held at the AsiaWorld-Expo to attract mainland visitors arriving at the airport and from the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge.

What is the Hong Kong Shopping Festival?
The twofold event will be held from August 1 to 31, and more than 230 Hong Kong brands are expected to take part in the campaign.
