The forecaster said the weather would be mainly cloudy with occasional showers on Monday night and Tuesday.
“Showers will be heavier at times in some areas with thunderstorms. Temperatures will range between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius,” it said.
There will also be “moderate to fresh easterly winds, occasionally strong offshore and on high ground”.
A few showers would be observed from Wednesday to Friday, it added.
The forecaster explained that the coast of Guangdong would experience a strong easterly airstream in the next few days, leading to windier weather.
