Ghostly white lady turns out to be crash victim
A passenger on a bus running on the Island Eastern Corridor near City Garden – a housing project in North Point – in the small hours of last Saturday was terrified to see a long-haired woman dressed in white squatting on the kerb. At first glance he thought it was a ghost, but then spotted a damaged BMW sedan nearby. The woman, 23, was injured and awaiting medical help after losing control of the car and hitting the kerb.

Teacher suspended for touting after-class tutorials
A 12-week substitute teacher at the Fresh Fish Traders’ School in Tai Kok Tsui was suspended from duty after parents complained he had got their phone numbers from their children and persuaded them to hire him as a private tutor. After suspending him, principal Sze Chi-king urged parents to better protect their personal data. He also reported the matter to police, the Education Bureau and the Privacy Commissioner.
