Hong Kong piano teacher admits vandalising councillor's office over her policies
Piano teacher admits he damaged doors and campaign banners after being caught on camera

A piano teacher yesterday admitted he damaged a district councillor's campaign banners and office doors in North Point because he did not agree with her policies.
Tin Hau resident Felix Mark Hung, 39, pleaded guilty in Eastern Court to nine counts of criminal damage. He originally faced 21 counts of the same charge.
Eastern district councillor Jennifer Chow Kit-bing's assistant Tsoi Wun-lam found three of their banners - located outside Tin Hau MTR station, on Electric Road and Wing Hing Street in North Point - had been sprayed with black paint in August, the court heard. Two more banners were spray-painted a day later.
On August 21, Tsoi found the keyhole on Chow's office door had been glued, and an electronic lock damaged, the court heard.
The electronic lock was again damaged a few days later. A security camera was installed after the first incident and Hung was captured in action, the court heard.
Police surveillance of the area in September failed to identify the offender, the court heard. But a month later, Hung was caught hitting the keypad with a spanner. Under caution, he admitted to some of the alleged offences.
