Billed as "the unauthorised Harry experience", this show promises to retell the entire seven-book Harry Potter series by British author J.K. Rowling in 70 minutes.

It evolved from an idea that Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner had in 2005 when they were commissioned to create a five-minute street show to recap the plot of the first five books about the boy wizard.

How are they going to do that? Well, they are not - the same way they are not going to bring 20 top theatre actors to play "300 characters" from the books, or have a car flying over the audience, or drag a fire-breathing dragon onto the stage. In fact, the show is not always about Harry Potter: The Chronicles of Narnia, The Lord of the Rings , Watership Down and, er, Austin Powers are also referenced.

Potted Potter, which began life at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2006, is all about "poking fun at the books or films in a loving way". And Jesse Briton and Gary Trainor, who are standing in for Clarkson and Turner in the production's Asian tour, do just that.
