Police in Daofu, an ethnic Tibetan region in Sichuan province, came across the unusual scene in the early hours of Tuesday, according to Huaxi Metropolis Daily.

All the rear seats had been pulled out and the two large animals crammed inside. When police first noticed the van, the driver sped up but suddenly stopped and three people got out and fled, the report said.
