Couple buried under debris after truck tips over on road in northern China

A couple waiting on a scooter at a traffic lights in northern China were buried under a huge mound of soil after a truck tipped over next to them, according to a newspaper report.
The accident happened in Zhengzhou in Henan province early on Wednesday morning, the Dahe Daily reported.
A witness told the newspaper that the truck flipped over after it turned sharply to avoid a speeding car.
The husband and wife were quickly covered under thick soil before several passers-by came and tried to dig them out by hand, the witness was quoted as saying.
Rescuers and medical staff arrived and it took nearly 15 minutes to pull the couple out, according to the article.
