Chinese woman declared dead in traffic accident comes back to life on her way to funeral home

A woman who was pronounced dead after a traffic accident in Southern China suddenly came back to life when she was being carried to a hearse, local media reported.

The woman was on the passenger seat of a tricycle when it crashed into a sedan in Zhongshan, Guangdong province on Sunday morning, the Southern Metropolis News reported.

She was thrown out of the vehicle and laid motionless in a pool of blood.

Paramedics confirmed that the woman was dead, and covered her with a blue cloth. But when funeral home workers were about to transfer her to their van, her body suddenly moved.

The medical team was called back to the scene and gave her emergency treatment before rushing her to hospital, where she remains in critical condition.
