Malaysian diving instructor accused of forced kiss on Chinese tourist finds himself in hot water

The 24-year-old tourist said that she was molested by the man, who was working freelance, while diving in waters off Semporna in Sabah state at about 1pm on Friday, according to Assistant Superintendent Arif Abdul Razak, the acting officer in charge of the district.
Arif said in a statement on Monday that the victim had lodged a complaint with Semporna police before flying back to her hometown in China.
He said that the freelance diving instructor was arrested at 12.50am on Sunday at a house in a water village in the district.
Arif said police were investigating the case under Section 354 of the Penal Code for using criminal force to outrage the modesty of a woman.
He said the suspect has been remanded until Thursday to facilitate investigations.
