Angry relatives of flight MH370 victims reject Malaysia's findings, turn down payouts
Father of passenger onMH370 says families may suebecause they refuse to give up hope

The father of a passenger on the missing Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 said yesterday families would sue the carrier if the authorities do not withdraw a formal declaration that all on board had died in an accident.
Relatives reacted angrily to the statement from the Malaysian government and have rejected talk of compensation.
"If they don't rescind the declaration, we will sue them," said Wen Wancheng, the father of a Chinese passenger who was on the aircraft.
The Malaysian authorities on Thursday formally stated for the first time that all 239 passengers and crew onboard the lost Malaysia Airlines plane, two-thirds of whom were Chinese, were presumed dead.
"We call on Malaysia to withdraw their statement. It lacks a basis in evidence," said Jiang Hui, whose mother was on the plane.
"They gave up searching for survivors after 40 days."
